Free ride home from 2Q Festival

2Q Festival and trentbarton have joined forces with an innovative partnership that will offer free bus rides home from 2Q Festival on 1st April 2017.

trentbarton will be the events’ wristband partner for 2017. As part of this tie-up, all customers wearing a 2Q festival 2017 wristband, sporting the trentbarton logo, will be able to hop on any trentbarton route to get home from Derby for free after the event.

Martin Ridgeway on behalf of 2Q said ‘’part of the ethos of 2Q is to give maximum value for our gig goers, so to be able to offer something free like this is fantastic, and we think it is great that trentbarton have supported the event in this way"

Jordan kemp, trentbarton's marketing & communications manager said: ‘’we’re pleased to extend our partnership with the 2Q festival for another year. This event is a fantastic platform for artists from across the region and is great for the local economy in Derby. We want to help build on the successful festival last year, and we’re doing our bit to help out.

Our nightbuses run through the night from Derby to Ilkeston, Ripley, Burton, Heanor, Belper, Long Eaton and Spondon until 3.30am, and our red arrow runs up to every 30 mins between Derby and Nottingham until 2.45am; perfect for those who may attend some afterparties”

The offer will be exclusive to 2Q 2017 wristband holders who will need to show their wristband proving attendance at the event. The offer will be valid on Saturday 1st April through to 4am on Sunday 2nd April.

Jordan added “with so many options to get home after the festival, don’t drink and drive, drink and ride!”

2Q Festival is Derby’s annual multi venue live music festival which will take place across 10 venues on Saturday 1st April. The Festival is supported by the Arts Council for the East Midlands in conjunction with the National Lottery who have awarded Grants For The Arts Funding in support of the 2017 event.
