Our drivers will soon be competing for a prestigious new award and our customers are being asked to help nominate the winners.
Every year we run our Really Good Service Awards which recognise the achievements of our staff. Employees are judged by a team of 'mystery shoppers' but in 2011 a new category will give customers a say in deciding on a new award to nominate their favourite driver.
Commercial Director, Alex Hornby, said: "Over the next couple of months we are asking our customers to nominate their favourite driver for the new Customer Choice Award - which will run alongside our existing Driver of the Year Award - and the winner will be announced at a special ceremony in April, 2011.
"Since the Really Good Service Awards were launched eight years ago they have proved a huge success, rewarding staff for their efforts and highlighting a company-wide commitment to customer service.
"This new award will give a say to the people who matter most - our customers - and anyone submitting a nomination will receive a MANGO card allowing £5 worth of free travel."
The current holder of the our Driver of the Year title, Rhamzan Mohammed added: "I felt really proud winning this accolade, but the Customer Choice Award will really mean a lot to the winner because of the involvement of the customers they meet on a daily basis."
