25 & the sevens

25 waves goodbye

It's with a heavy heart that we'll no longer operate 25 from Sunday 26 May 2019.

We introduced this service in November 2018 to help keep people moving around Kirk Hallam and Ilkeston alongside ilkeston flyer and 21.

Unfortunately, 25 hasn't carried enough customers to make this service commercially sustainable.

This decision was not taken lightly, and came after much consideration. We would like to thank all of our customers who have travelled with us on 25, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The 25 route will still be served by ilkeston flyer, 21 and 20 (Sundays only). Tap here to see how your buses will run through Kirk Hallam from from 26 May.

new operator for the sevens

Notts+Derby will run the sevens 7.1 and 7.2 journeys from Monday 27 May.

We will continue to run the sevens as normal until Saturday 25 May.

Here's what you need to know:

  • the services will be renamed 71 and 72
  • there will be no changes to the timetable or routes
  • there will be no changes to the fares
  • mango will still be accepted, however journeys on 71 and 72 will not count towards your mango cap

We would like to thank all of our customers who have travelled with us on the sevens over the years.
