We have undertaken a review of services in the Beeston area as a result of the proposed new bus interchange in the town and the NET Phase Two tram extensions.
Director of Service Delivery, Tom Morgan explained: "When the first phase of tram network opened back in 2004 we went through a similar process to make sure our routes adapted to the changes, and this was the case in Beeston."
ROUTE 18 buses currently run from Stapleford to Nottingham via Beeston, Beeston Rylands and the QMC and Tom added: "What was most encouraging was the feedback we had from local residents, and we certainly took their views in to consideration when we evaluated the Beeston network.
"We're pleased to confirm there will be no changes to timetables, fares or the locations served."
We can also confirm that over the next few weeks, four newly refurbished buses will replace the exisitng fleet.
