Aviva Women's Tour of Britain cycling event

The 4th stage of the Aviva Womens Tour of Britain cycling event will begin from Nottingham city centre on Saturday 18 June. Friar Lane will be closed between 5am and 12pm. During this time the following buses will all use stop M6 on Maid Marion Way:

  • indigo
  • i4
  • skylink Nottingham
  • centrelink
  • rushcliffe mainline
  • rushcliffe villager
  • cotgrave connection

Maid Marion Way is expected to be closed at around 10.15am to 10.30am for the start of the race.

Priory Island and West entrance / University Boulevard will then be the next roads closed for the same amount of time. This will affect i4, indigo and skylink. 

After that, there will be rolling road closures in place as the race goes through Beeston, Chilwell, Long Eaton, Breaston Draycott and Borrowash.

Delays are dependant on how fast the race moves from stage to stage.

When the bike race makes its way through Nottingham, my15, zoom, the two and the red arrow will experince some delays:
