Goose Fair 2024

From Friday 27th September until Sunday 6th October we are expecting delays along Alfreton Road and Mansfield Road as the annual Goose Fair returns.   

With more than 350 rides and attractions and thrills aplenty for all ages, Goose Fair is one of the largest travelling funfairs in Europe and has been staged annually in Nottingham since at least 1284.

the calverton & the threes buses all stop alongside Goose Fair at the Forest Recreation Ground stop. In the City Centre, you can board the calverton on Parliament Street or Milton Street. You can board the threes at Victoria Bus Station (Bay 3).  

If traveling with us on the rainbow one please use Gregory Boulevard on Alfreton Road.     

During the evenings rainbow one, the threes, the calverton, 141 and pronto could be delayed up to 30 minutes, so please allow extra time for your journey. 

The Goose Fair is open at the following times: 

  • Friday 27 September: 4pm-11pm
  • Saturday 28 September: 12pm-11pm
  • Sunday 29 September: 1pm-9pm (SEND session 12pm-1pm)
  • Monday 30 September: 4pm-10.30pm
  • Tuesday 1 October: 4pm-10.30pm
  • Wednesday 2 October: 4pm-10.30pm
  • Thursday 3 October: 4pm-10.30pm
  • Friday 4 October: 4pm-11pm
  • Saturday 5 October: 12pm-11pm
  • Sunday 6 October: 1pm-9pm (SEND session 12pm-1pm)
