The Nottingham Halloween Festival is back from 24 October to 1 November, bringing rooftop monsters, spooky surprises and plenty of family fun to the city centre. And, if you’re looking for a different way to explore, there’s a very special bus ride with your name on it.
Hop aboard the Monster Safari Bus
We’re proud to be sponsoring the Monster Safari Bus, helping it run for two extra days this year so even more people can join in the fun.
Climb aboard the It’s in Nottingham Monster Bus for a Spooky Safari around the city, where you’ll be on the lookout for giant rooftop monsters and creepy creatures lurking above Nottingham’s streets.
It’s a brilliant way to see the city from a different perspective, so get your monster-spotting skills ready, dress up in your favourite Halloween costume and see how many spooky sights you can spot.
The tours run on selected dates between 27 and 31 October, with morning and afternoon departures. Each trip lasts around 30 minutes, and every child gets a treat. Tickets must be booked in advance, so don’t leave it until the last minute!

A brand new Halloween Parade
There’s even more spooky excitement on Wednesday 28 October, when Nottingham welcomes its very first Halloween Parade.
Created by Walk the Plank, The Family of Phantoms will take to the streets with a wonderfully eerie procession through the city centre.
You can catch performances at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, starting outside Nottingham Central Library before making their way through the city streets.
It’s a free event for the whole family, so bring your little ghosts and ghouls along and enjoy something a little different this Halloween.
Make a day of it
With plenty of Halloween activities taking place across the city, why not turn your visit into a full day out?
Explore Nottingham’s shops, stop for a bite to eat or discover somewhere new before heading home. There’s lots to see and do, whether you’re planning a family adventure or simply fancy soaking up the spooky atmosphere.
And, of course, you can leave the car at home and hop on board with us to make your journey into Nottingham.
