red arrow aims for summer fun in the country

Enjoying a day out in Britain’s beautiful countryside is now easier than ever thanks to a new weekend service from trent barton.

On summer Sundays we will be running our flagship red arrow service to the heart of the Peak District with regular coaches from Derby and Nottingham.

The hourly service run on Sunday's and provide a fast and comfortable express link to Matlock and Bakewell. Anyone who climbs aboard can also take advantage of the company’s zigzag ticket, offering a day of unlimited travel for just £5.

Alex Hornby, Commercial Director, explained: “Although there’s plenty to do in our two cities, it’s great to get out into the country once in a while and red arrow is a fantastic way of travelling to two of Derbyshire’s most picturesque villages.

“They are both surrounded by some stunning scenery and have easy access to many of the area’s most popular attractions.”

The coaches run from 9.00am, with the last buses leaving Bakewell for Nottingham at 4.20pm and to Derby at 5.20pm.

Alex added: “With leather seats, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, red arrow coaches also benefit from great connections with other services across our network and so anyone, regardless of where they live, can travel to the country in style.”
