Students at Nottingham University will find it cheaper getting to lectures and other events around the city thanks to our £20,000 travel giveaway.

The first 4,000 students signing up for our  new 'Student MANGO' smart card will each receive £5 worth of free travel, on top of other generous fare discounts.

Explained Commercial Director, Alex Hornby: "The MANGO card has proved a huge success, offering customers the convenience of online pre-payment for bus travel and a discount of 25 per cent on single fares.

"The new Student MANGO provides a 35 per cent discount and to mark its launch the first students to register for the card will received a £5 top-up bonus."

The new card was unveiled at a Freshers' Fair at the University this week, and already over 2,000 students have signed up. A similar giveaway is now being planned for students at Nottingham Trent University.

Added Alex: "Students help to make the city a vibrant place. They are also vital to the future prosperity of Nottingham and we're pleased to be able to help them."
