Aviva Tour of Britain Cycle Race

The Aviva Tour of Britain cycle race comes to the East Midlands on Friday 11 September.

To make way for the bikes there will be rolling road closures between 12pm-4pm.

The bikes will be heading through Derbyshire between 12pm-2pm, this is likely to affect our sixes, amberline and sevens buses.

Then, between 2pm-4pm they will head through Nottingham with rolling road blocks on Nottingham Road (Trowell) Wollaton Vale, A52 QMC island, Gregory Boulevard and the A60 Mansfield Road.

This will cause delays to threes, calverton connection, 141, rainbow one, rapid one, two, 21my15, red arrow, indigo and i4.

Due to the nature of closure, we can't be more specific with road closure times or diversion routes but the event is likely to cause heavy delays, especially around Nottingham.

We will be giving live updates throughout the day on our trentbarton live facebook and twitter pages. Our drivers, as always will be doing their best to keep you moving.

Please visit the Tour of Britain website for more information.
