changes from 29 May

From Sunday 29 May we’ll be making some changes…

the nines

Over the past few months we’ve been looking at how we can improve the nines to make a more punctual and reliable service.

Unfortunately 9.2 will be withdrawn and extra buses put on 9.1 journeys on Mondays to Saturdays and 9.3 journeys on Sundays. This mean the nines will no longer serve Little Eaton or Coxbench, however both areas are served by alternative trentbarton routes (the sevens and amberline).

The timetable will also be extensively re-timed to improve reliability (especially at peak periods) whilst keeping current frequencies where possible.

rapid one

To improve timekeeping rapid one journeys during afternoon peak times will be tweaked to allow a little extra time.

rainbow one

nightbus times on rainbow one will also be altered by a few minutes (although the departure times from Nottingham will stay the same).

Finally rainbow one Sunday journeys from Alfreton will leave 3 minutes earlier and are retimed to Eastwood.

black cat

Monday to Friday journeys on the black cat will be altered slightly by a few minutes.

There will be no changes to the Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday timetable.

ilkeston flyer

Monday to Friday journeys on the ilkeston flyer will see some slight changes.

The first journey of the day will now leave Derby Bus Station at 6.50am instead of 6.35am. There will be no changes to the Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday timetable.
