Derbyshire County Council alongside National Grid, will be carrying out electrical installations on Hall Street and Cressy Road between 27th July 25 - 7th September 25.

the comet won’t have access to Alfreton Bus Station, and our usual temporary stop will be placed on the inbound side of King Street and both stops in either direction will be utilised as the Alfreton Hall Street Bus Station timing point.

Towards Alfreton/ Nottingham – After serving Ellesmere Avenue bus stop turn left onto Alma Street, follow the road round taking your 4th right onto Marshall Street, where you will have to wait your time at the temporary bus stop, then turn left onto Hall Street, follow to the traffic lights, turn right onto King Street, follow to the traffic lights, turn right onto Alfreton High Street, follow the road, making sure you pick up at the temporary bus stop outside Nationwide and resume normal route.

Towards Alfreton /Derby – On approach to Alfreton Bus Station coming from Swanwick, after coming off the A38 roundabout , follow the road up and just before the church, turn right onto Long Meadow Road, follow all the way round (continuing onto Alfred Street, turn left onto Marshall Street, (using the temporary bus stop on Marshall Street to wait time), then turn left onto Hall Street , follow to the traffic lights, turn right onto King Street, follow to the traffic lights, turn right onto Alfreton High Street and pick up at the temporary bus stop outside Nationwide and resume normal route.
