spondon flyer & ilkeston flyer will be diverted between 2pm & 9pm
On Saturday 25 November, Spondon will host it's annual Christmas light switch on, Spondon Alight.
This will affect the spondon flyer and ilkeston flyer. Between 2pm to 9pm, the following stops will be closed:
- Lodge Lane
- Sitwell Street
- White Swan
- Stoney Lane Cemetery
- The Pingle
- Chapel Street shops
- Chapel Street school
Temporary stops will be in place at the Bottom of Sandringham Drive to serve the Yarnspinner & opposite the Vernon Arms for customers wanting to get to Spondon village.
A temporary stop will also be in place on South Avenue for ilkeston flyer customers travelling towards Derby.
This could cause delays of between 5-10 minutes depending on how much extra traffic there is. But don't worry, our friendly drivers will do their best to keep you moving.
