On Saturday 24th May 2025 the annual Wheelbarrow Race will take part between 19:25 – 20:00. This will see the 19:05 Derby to Bakewell to be at Wirksworth at 19:48. If you would all be so kind as to wait until the road opens.
Due to this there will be rolling road closure on Sunday 25th May 2025 from 12:00 until 14:10. Passengers are asked that you will need to turn up Lime Kiln and head towards Cromford and the A6.
