Here’s his perfect day out hopping on rushclife villager for a wander along the river Trent in Gunthorpe before heading into Nottingham via Trent Bridge.

Liam’s peaceful home town of Bingham is known for its market days (every Thursday) and 13C church. It’s a pleasant place for a wander with countryside right on its doorstep. The Old Post office yard is worth checking out with it’s range of boutique shops and a deli.
If Liam wants to head straight into Nottingham he’ll catch mainline which runs every 10 mins via Radcliffe, but today he’s catching rushclife villager to hop off in Gunthorpe.

Gunthorpe is a great place to access the river Trent, which runs through the village. There’s a plentiful supply of walks around Hoveringham Lake (just an hour walk along the river) or Gunthorpe Nature Reserve (just a 5 minute walk from the Unicorn Hotel) as well as a good selection of restaurants & pubs including The Bridge & Bayleaf, Tom Browns & The Anchor Gunthorpe. Great for a pint by the river on a sunny day!
From Gunthorpe, Liam hops back on rushclife villager to Trent Bridge.
sporty Trent Bridge & West Bridgford
On the edge of Nottingham, Trent Bridge is home to 2 football stadiums sat either side of the river Trent - home to Nottingham Forest and Nott’s County - and Trent Bridge Cricket Club. When he’s not supporting his home team Forest Liam often goes for a walk on the embankment.
Classy West Bridgford sits right next to Trent Bridge and has a lively town centre with bars and restaurants a-plenty plus a good selection of independent shops.
From Trent Bridge, Liam can hop on mainline, rushclife villager, the keyworth, the cotgrave or skylink express into Nottingham.

Jake likes to meet his friends in board games cafe The Dice cup (right opposite the Victoria Centre bus station). It houses over 1,000 board, role-playing and trading card games and hosts regular events and tournaments.
Other favourite hang outs include the NQ64 Arcade Bar, where you can play vintage arcade machines and Roxy Ballroom for bowling, curling and batting cages.
