From Monday 16 February, South Staffs Water will be carrying out an urgent repair on a water main located under the A38 Burton Road (southbound) at the junction for The Castle Way, Willington.
To allow this repair to be completed safely the left lane of the A38 (before the OK Diner and Willington Services) and the exit for The Castle Way into Willington will be closed for around six working days.
Why the work is needed
This is an urgent repair to fix a leak beneath the A38.
We anticiate that this may cause delays to our xprss38, the villager and V3 services as other road users find alternative routes in the area.
Please allow extra time for your journey, as congestion in the area is likely.
