Derby Road, Burton – resurfacing works (one‑way system)

From Monday 11 May until August (works ongoing) there will be a one-way system in place on A5121 Derby Road, Burton upon Trent between Derby Turn Island and the Pirelli Stadium as Staffordshire County Council are carrying out resurfacing works.

This will mean a small diversion for some journeys while improvements are carried out.
 
What this means for your bus

  • No change – buses will run their normal route into Burton upon Trent.
  • All stops served as usual.
 
the villager (towards Stretton, Tutbury, Hatton, Hilton, Etwall & Derby)
 
To keep things moving, buses will divert via Horninglow Road & Hawkins Lane rejoining normal route at the Pirelli Stadium.
 
Bus stops not served (towards Stretton, Tutbury, Hatton, Hilton, Etwall & Derby):
  • Horninglow Road
  • Pak Foods
  • Sydney Street
  • Eton Road
  • Princess Way

If you usually use one of the stops listed above, please allow a little extra time and use nearby alternatives where possible.
