Due to ongoing works on Lodge Lane, near the junction with Duffield Road and Garden Street at Five Lamps, we’re currently unable to serve Kedleston Road.
This change will remain in place until further notice, while the roadworks continue.
This affects journeys between the University of Derby and Derby Midland Railway Station only.
🚌 What this means for your journey
The U1 will now:
➡️ depart the University as normal
➡️ travel via A38 Queensway
➡️ continue along A52 Ashbourne Road
➡️ then use Agard Street to rejoin its normal route.
The U2 is not affected and will continue running its normal route.
We know this isn’t ideal for students and commuters using Kedleston Road, and our team will be keeping a close eye on the works so we can return to normal as soon as it’s safe to do so.
