As part of the redevelopment of the area around Broadmarsh, the NCP car park and the old College will be demolished. The works will be done in phases.
Phase 1 starting 7th September 2026, Contraflow will start on 28th September 2026
During this phase, there will be four-way temporary traffic lights at the junction. This will work on a different phasing and will cause some delays. The inbound stop at St Nicholas Church will also be closed during the contraflow and demolition.
Phase 2 dates are yet to be confirmed. As soon as we have the information, we will update you.
