We’ve just been informed that Nottingham City Council will be carrying out a bus stop refurbishment programme across the city centre — starting Monday 27 October.
The works will run daily from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and unfortunately, all operators (including us, CT4N and NCT) were given no prior notice.
📍 Daily changes & diversions:
Mon 27 Oct (08:00–16:30)
🔹 Friar Lane F4 – indigo
➡️ Alight at the lighting shop on Maid Marian Way, then use the stop beside the casino.
Tue 28 Oct (08:00–16:30)
🔹 Friar Lane F3 – i4
➡️ Same as above – lighting shop, then casino stop.
Wed 29 Oct (08:00–16:30)
🔹 Friar Lane F2 – mainline
➡️ Use Mount Street X1 or X2 (whichever is free).
Thu 30 Oct (08:00–16:00)
🔹 Friar Lane F1 – skylink Nottingham & skylink express
➡️ Use Mount Street X1 or X2.
Mon 3 Nov (08:00–16:30)
🔹 Carrington Street S5 & S6 – all south-of-the-river services
➡️ Alight at the taxi rank opposite the train station.
Tue 4 Nov (08:00–16:30)
🔹 Carrington Street S4 – all south-of-the-river services
➡️ Use the NCT stop outside the train station, just before our usual stop.
Wed 5 Nov (08:00–16:30)
🔹 Carrington Street S7 – shared with NCT
➡️ NCT will use our stop outside the train station.
We know this short notice is frustrating — and we’ve shared our disappointment with the council.
