From Monday 8 December 2025 to Friday 30 January 2026, National Highways will be removing diseased trees affected by Ash Dieback along the A38 between Little Eaton and M1 J28.
This work is essential to protect surrounding trees and keep the road safe. It will take place on weeknights from 8:00pm to 6:00am under full closures in both directions on different sections of the A38.
What this means for you
- During these closures, the nines will divert via local roads and run non-stop through Little Eaton.
- No stops will be served in Little Eaton while the diversion is in place.
- Please allow extra time for your journey.
