Priory Island will be closed on Friday 8 May from 20:00 until 06:00 due to essential resurfacing works being carried out by National Highways.
During this time, the i4 will be diverted as follows:
➡️ Towards Stapleford, Sandiacre and Derby:
Buses will follow the normal diversion via University Boulevard, Woodside Road, then turn left at Priory Island to rejoin the normal route.
⬅️ Towards Nottingham:
After serving the Derby Road stop on the A52, buses will divert via Wollaton Road → Station Road → Queens Road → University Boulevard, then via Dunkirk Island and QMC Island before returning to the normal route.

- Boundary Road
- Charles Avenue
- University North Entrance
