On Sunday 8th November, across trentbartonland, communities will be coming together to honour those who served as part of Rememberance Sunday commemerations. 

As a result, a number of remembrance parades and services will take place throughout the day, with temporary road closures affecting some of our routes.

To help you plan ahead, we've pulled together this handy A-Z guide of all the locations where services may be affected. Please allow a little extra time where advised and thank you for your patience as we support these important local events.

At 11:00am, our buses will respectfully observe the national two-minute silence where it is safe and practical to do so.

Alfreton, High Street

Between 10:00am and 12:00pm, road closures for the annual Remembrance Parade will affect journeys on the nines and the rainbow one.

Towards Alfreton & Mansfield: Buses will divert via Alma Street, Marshall Street and Hall Street before rejoining their usual route.

Towards Nottingham, Ripley & Derby: Buses will operate their normal route, although short delays may occur while the parade passes.

Arnold Town Centre

Between 9:00am - 12:15pm road closures will prevent buses using Nottingham Road between Daybrook and B&M.Buses will divert via Thackeray's Lane & Arnot Hill Road.

Bingham Market Place

Breaston & Draycott

Between 10:00am - 12:00pm road closures through Breaston and Draycott will require indigo to divert via Risley and Borrowash.

Burton upon Trent, High Street

Between 10:00am - 11:00am A Remembrance Parade in Burton town centre will close the High Street. Services will divert via Worthington Way.

Calverton

Between 9:00am - 12:00pm Main Street and Mansfield Lane will be closed. Buses will follow a local diversion route via Mews Lane, Collyer Road, Flatts Lane and Park Lane.

Castle Donington, Long Eaton & Sawley

Coalville

Between 9:30am - 12:15pm Remembrance events in Coalville town centre will affect services. During the closure, skylink Nottingham will terminate and start from Stephenson College instead of serving Coalville town centre.

Derby City Centre

Between 8:00am - 1:00pm Road closures associated with Derby's Remembrance Parade will affect buses travelling through the city centre.

Some services will terminate or start from Derby Bus Station and will be unable to serve stops beyond Eastgate.

Derby Road, Stapleford

Between 9:00am - 12:00pm the i4 will divert via Toton Lane & Brookhill Street.

Heanor Remembrance Parade

Between 9:45am - 11:15am Market Street will be closed while the parade takes place. Our rainbow one will divert via Lower Dunstead Road, Cromford Road and A610 (Woodlinkin by-pass) between Langley Mill and Codnor. 

Between 9:45am - 11:15am H1 towards Derby will be unable to serve part of their usual route through the town centre and start and finish their journeys at Tesco's stop on Derby Road. 

Hucknall, High Street

Between 10:00am - 10:50am, the threes will not be able to serve High Street and stops not served are Bus Link and Vine Terrace.

Ilkeston Remembrance Parade

Between 10:00am - 12:00pm. A number of town centre roads will be closed. Services will divert via Albert Street, Queen's Drive, Oakwell Drive & West End Drive. 

Temporary stops will be in place where required.

Jacksdale, Main Road

Between 10:15am - 11:45am Main Road will be closed for the Remembrance Parade. rainbow one towards Nottingham will divert via Selston Road, Barrows Hill Lane & Flatts Lane.

Kelham Way, Eastwood

Keyworth, Nottingham Road 

Between 10:30am - 11:30am a parade on Nottingham Road may lead to delays. No diversion is required, but journeys may take longer than usual.

Kimberley & Nuthall

Between 10:00am until 12:00pm emembrance parades in both communities will require rainbow one and 34 buses to follow a diversion route. 

Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Kingsway

Between 10:30am - 11:45am the threes will be unable to serve the following stops

• St Thomas Church
• Kirkby Cemetery
• Western Avenue
• Balls Lane
• Diamond Avenue (please use Precinct Road instead)

Long Whatton

Between 10:20am - 11:30am An Act of Remembrance will require skylink Nottingham buses to divert via Smithy Lane.

Mickleover

Between 10:00am - 12:00pm Etwall Road will be closed for the Remembrance Parade. the villager and the mickleover will divert via Headingham Way. Stops not served

Radcliffe-on-Trent

Between 10:15am - 12:30pm, the mainline will use the A52 and will be unable to serve Radcliffe-on-Trent village. All stops on the A52 will continue to be served.

Ripley

Between 10:00am - 12:00pm road closures for the annual parade will require rainbow one to divert via Steam Mill Lane, Ballacraine Drive, Broadway & Nottingham Road.

Shepshed

• Tickow Lane
• Anson Road

while Charnwood Road and the Bull Ring are closed.

Spondon

Between 10:00 until 12:30pm Remembrance Parade road closures will affect services through the village. Our ilkeston flyer will operate via Stoney Lane, Gravel Pit Lane & South Avenue.

Sutton-in-Ashfield

• Sutton Bus Station

Tutbury

Between 10:00am - 11:00am, the annual Remembrance Parade will temporarily close roads through the village. the villager will divert via the bypass. Stops not served

West Hallam

The 10:58am service from Ilkeston may be held briefly while parade-related road closures are lifted.Delays of up to 10 minutes are possible.
