We’ve recently been shortlisted for no less than four prestigious national awards.

Our drivers Elaine Allitt and Allan Gilmour are both in the running for the coveted Top National Bus Driver title at the UK Bus Awards. While Elaine drives on radcliffe line and xprss, Allan has been a familiar face on the calverton connection.

We’ve also been shortlisted in the Marketing Excellence and Making Buses a Better Choice categories. Meanwhile our first Graduate Management Trainee, Tom Morgan, is a contender for the Young Bus Manager award.

Alex Hornby, Commercial Director explained: “We are delighted to be so well represented at the awards, which are recognised and respected across the industry.

“Both Allan and Elaine are a credit to the company, friendly with their customers and always willing to help them in any way they can.”

Alex went on to say that we was also pleased that our efforts to promote the MANGO smart card had been recognised in the Marketing category and the development of its rapid 1 service for Making Buses a Better Choice.

“Congratulations must also go to Tom for reaching this stage of the competition. He is full of enthusiasm and has worked really hard since joining the trent barton family,” Alex added.

The winners of the UK Bus Awards will be announced during a special lunch at the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane on November 20.
