Looking for something creative, colourful and completely free to enjoy this spring? Derbyshire Makes is back and it’s bigger, bolder and bursting with hands-on experiences across the county.
Derbyshire Makes is a countywide celebration of creativity in all its forms from traditional crafts and heritage skills to cutting edge design and making.
Now in its second year, the festival shines a spotlight on Derbyshire’s rich industrial past and thriving creative scene, bringing together artists, makers and communities to share skills, stories and ideas.
Expect everything from textile workshops and live demonstrations to parades, pop up performances and interactive installations all designed to get people of all ages involved.
