Please be advised that, due to the Ilkeston Charter Fair taking place from Tuesday 20 October until Monday 26 October, a number of bus services operating within and around Ilkeston town centre will be subject to temporary diversions, revised stopping arrangements, and potential delays throughout the duration of the event.
As a result of the road closures associated with the fair, the following bus stops will be unavailable and will not be served during this period:
- Ilkeston Marketplace - Stops 1 to 5
- Queen Street
- South Street
During the Ilkeston Charter Fair (20-26 October), services will operate via Albert Street, Derby Road and Wharncliffe Road. Please use the following alternative stops:

- Towards Old Sawley / East Midlands Airport: Use Stop 3 on Albert street or Stop 5 on Derby Road.
- Towards Ilkeston: Alight at Stop 4 outside Bristol Street Motors, or remain on the bus until Albert Street.
Ilkeston Flyer
- Towards Kirk Hallam & Derby: Use Stop 7 (Oppisite New Lawn Drive), Stop 1 on Albert Street, or Stop 5 on Derby Road.
- Towards Cotmanhay: Use Stop 4 outside Bristol Street Motors or Stop 6 near West End Drive.
The Two
- Towards Nottingham: Use Stop 7 (opposite New Lawn Drive), Stop 3 on Albert Street, or Stop 5 on Derby Road.
- Towards Cotmanhay: Use Stop 4 outside Bristol Street Motors or Stop 6 on West End Drive.
