On Sunday 9 March, the Nottingham 10k race will be taking place around most of Nottingham City Centre which will potentially cause a fair amount of disruption to traffic. Below is the map of diversions and temporary terminus points between 08:00 and 13:00 for each service.
The 7:45, 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 departures from Upper Parliament Street will need to start and terminate at the Marlborough Road stop on Mansfield Road.
The 8:20, 9:20, 10:20, 11:20 departures will be unable to serve Beastmarket Hill, so will start and finish at Broadmarsh Bus Station (Bay 6)
Services will still be able to use Friar Lane, however some duties that start after 8:00 will need to take a diversion between Manvers Street and Friar Lane. This will be via London Road, Queen's Road, Queens Drive, Castle Marina, Lenton Boulevard, Derby Road, Canning Circus and Maid Marion Way.
Buses will be unable to serve Mount Street between 8:00 and 11:00 and you will need to terminate at Broadmarsh Bus Station. The following trips will start at Broadmarsh Bus Station (Bay 5)
8:30, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30
The following departures will be unable to serve Friar Lane, so will start and finish at Broadmarsh Bus Station (Bay 8)
7:55, 8:25, 8:45, 9:05, 9:25, 9:45, 10:00, 10:20, 10:40, 11:00, 11:20
The following departures from Nottingham will need to start from Upper Parliament Street - 8:35, 9:05, 9:35, 10:05, 10:25, 10:45, 11:05 as will not be able to access Victoria Bus Station from 8:00am.
As we will not be able to serve Victoria Bus Station from 8:00am. The following journeys on the rainbow one & the two will depart from Burton Street (Stop T8) by The Cournerhouse:
the two- The following departures will need to begin their trip at Burton Street - 8:35, 9:05, 9:35, 10:05, 10:25, 10:45, 11:05
rainbow one - The following departures will need to begin their trip at Burton Street - 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00
The following journeys will be unable to serve Friar Lane, so will terminate and start from Broadmarsh Bus Station (Bay 3)
7:50, 8:25, 9:15, 9:45, 10:15, 10:45, 11:15, 11:45
Buses will not be able to serve Friar Lane. Both outbound and inbound services will need to divert via Castle Marina, Queen's Drive, Waterway Street West, Crocus Street and Carrington Street between 8:00 and 13:00
The 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00 and 11:30 will all terminate and depart at Broadmarsh Bus Station.
The 7:10 departure will still be able to use Victoria Bus Station
The 8:10, 9:10, 9:30, 9:50, 10:10, 10:30, 10:50 and 11:10 departures will this year be able to terminate at the Marlborough Road stop on Mansfield Road.
Mansfield Road may open earlier than 11:00 if the runners have passed through.
